The Mariposa Trust - Saying Goodbye Service
This service is for those who have suffered the loss of a baby, as well as for their children and their extended family and friends, whether the loss be recent or historic. In addition, anyone who has been through fertility treatment or who has not been able to have children for whatever reason, is most welcome.
It gives the opportunity to stand with other people ‘who know’ the pain of losing a child, and offers a time to publicly acknowledge and remember children who have been lost, whilst collectively 'saying goodbye'.
This service is for people of any faith, or no faith. All are welcome.
This service is free to attend.

Saying Goodbye is a division of the bereavement support charity, The Mariposa Trust.
Since 2012, global services of remembrance for families, couples and individuals affected by the loss of a baby, whether that be during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy have been held at Cathedrals, Minsters and Abbeys across the UK and beyond. The ‘Saying Goodbye’ services were launched by the Mariposa Trust to provide support to the 30,000,000 individuals, couples and families affected by baby loss each year globally, and they have been vital in helping countless tens of thousands of bereaved families acknowledge and remember the baby or babies that they have lost.
